Cloud server or VPS?
A cloud server comes set up for your software, with the server side looked after. A VPS is a blank server you run yourself.
Will my shop be faster?
Usually, yes: your site gets the server to itself, tuned for WooCommerce or Magento.
Shared hosting or a cloud server?
For most small businesses, shared hosting is plenty and best value. A cloud server suits very busy sites, or several busy sites together.
